The V60 estate has only just arrived in UK showrooms, and Volvo has now added sporty R-Design and R-Design Pro models to the line-up. Priced at £3,600 more than the Momentum models they are based on, the R-Design additionally features half leather sports seats with front cushion extensions, black headlining, a perforated leather steering wheel and gear knob, gearshift paddles on automatic editions, sports pedals, R-Design tread plates, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and heated steering wheel.

On the outside, there’s 18-inch alloy wheels, LED front fog lights, a sports chassis, dual exhaust pipes with gloss black surround, front park assist and gloss black roof rails. On the R-Design Pro model, there’s also rear privacy glass, head-up display, cornering functionality for the front fog lights, keyless entry and start, heated front seats, an electric driver’s seat with memory, a handsfree electric tailgate, 19-inch alloy wheels and multicolour ambient lighting. Prices start at £35,410 for the D3 R-Design manual and rise to £40,210 for the D4 R-Design Pro automatic.
