With the 4&Rotary North Island Jamboree taking place in March, the show car championship season has been kicked off. The next round is now set to take place in the south for the South Island Champs in Timaru, 16–18 November, 2018. Contestants will have the chance to grab vital award points at the smaller-scale event that forces competitors to up the quality levels something fierce just to get in the door — entries are now open.

Champs will be followed by the final at the Nationals in Auckland — 26–27 January, 2019 — where new show car champions will be crowned. Break out the vivid, mark the dates down on the calendar, and get your ass in the shed, that car ain’t going to build itself.
