Ford is expanding its Tourneo range, with the launch of the Courier in the UK. Previously it was only sold in van guise in the UK, but with a recent facelift, the company has decided to sell the passenger edition here, too. Just one diesel edition is available, in Zetec specification, with the 101bhp 1.5-litre TDCi engine under the bonnet. Priced at £16,125, or £16,305 with fuel-saving start-stop technology, the five-seat multi-purpose vehicle is exceptionally roomy and is decently kitted out.

Air conditioning, cruise control, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, heated front windscreen and front fog lights come as standard, as do electric front windows, electric and heated door mirrors and a leather steering wheel. The Tourneo Courier is available to order now.
