The C107 1975 SLC continued Mercedes’ SLC line in spectacular fashion. In the mid ’90s, this car was restored at huge cost. The 4.5-litre 165kW engine was fully rebuilt, and the car was fitted with new body panels, new chrome, new leather, and new glass, as well as a host of other bits and pieces at the same time. The original receipts for this work are with the car — which is still in great condition — as are the various car show certificates it has won.
