Not content with Mercedes-Benz’s X-Class hogging the premium- bakkie limelight, BMW has built a one-off design study for an X7-based double cab. The 3,0-litre inline-six turbopetrol-powered (250 kW) model boasts a luxurious cabin, 1 400 mm loadbay with handcrafted load area and dual-level air suspension. BMW has stated the bakkie is not destined for production but could considerable public interest change that stance?
