The late Fast and the Furious star didn’t just play a petrolhead – he was a bone fide lover of all things four-wheeled. Now, more of his collection is coming up for grabs. There are 21 cars in the collection, including the Nissan 370Z and Mustang Boss above. But that BMW M3 (E36) is very special – it’s one of 125 US-only models that shaved 100kg from the standard car thanks to aluminium doors and a spartan interior.
It also got forged wheels and a bespoke spoiler, plus Motorsport livery. Peculiarly, the collection has not just one of these special M3s, but five. All of them – including a Nissan Skyline GTR R32 racer and a BMW M3 (E30) – will go under the hammer at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale sale in the US in January. See barrett-jackson.com
