Vauxhall confirms electric Corsa for 2020 and future Hybrids. Under new ownership by PSA Group and the leadership of recently appointed CEO Michael Lohscheller, Vauxhall (and Opel) have confirmed its next-gen Corsa model will have an electric model due in 2020. In addition, a hybrid version of the company’s Grandland X crossover and a further two “electrified” models by 2020 and that all passenger model lines will be electrified by 2024.
The company also announced their plan to return to profit, dubbed “PACE!”, which essentially includes becoming “sustainable, profitable, electrified, and [a] global company”.
