Family-owned Ashwater celebrates forty years of producing sparkling chromed components – from mascots and overriders to door handles and thermostat housing – for the classic car sector. Owned and operated by the Cartwright family, Ashwater’s current tool inventory exceeds 1,400 different components in production with an average of 30 new tools completed each year.
Says managing director Mark Cartwright, “Having made changes to improve our green credentials, we continue to invest in new production technologies. Most of all, we are proud that the products that leave us are actually made by us. We know our customers appreciate this and we appreciate both their custom and support.
“We are determined to continue developing new products and improving our engineering performance.”
Based in Devon, Ashwater (www. ashwater-classics.co.uk) manufactures its products on site with sister firm, Zeus (www. zeus.uk.com), a specialist in replacement braking systems for the classic car sector, which itself celebrated 30 years in 2019.
