Goddess in the details Citroen DS21 driven - epic cars brought back from the brink and made perfect. Driving a DS is one of motoring’s great experiences. And this one’s up for sale. It’s 2016. So, isn't it amazing that a fourseater saloon introduced in 1955 still looks utterly futuristic? The shark-like snout, the swivelling headlights and predatory proportions scream supercar. One of the stars of this weekend’s show is a Jaguar XJ-SC development car. his is how two cousins new to classics brought it up to scratch for the Pride of Ownership display. This lovely-looking Jaguar XJ-SC is the result of two cousins teaming up to iron the niggles out of their first ever classic car. Yet what they didn’t realise was that what they were working on was a bit of Browns Lane history and they were giving one of Jaguar’s development cars a new lease of life.

Paradoxically, it seemed right for the purposes of a fair comparison that neither Green nor I had driven a Ferrari Testarossa before.

As my confidence was growing in the car I was getting to the point where I could begin to pick out some setup flaws in the chassis.
