Prices have been announced for the new flagship SUV in the Audi range, the new Q8. Sitting above the Q7 in the model hierarchy, the newcomer is offered in a choice of S line and Vorsprung trim levels, with the former priced at £65,040, and the latter at £83,040.
Both are powered by the new 50 TDI quattro powertrain that encompasses a 282bhp 3.0-litre V6 TDI unit with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, and is mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes 21-inch alloy wheels, adaptive air sport suspension, high-definition matrix LED headlights, a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit, 10.1-inch upper screen, 8.6-inch lower controls and wireless smartphone charging. Vorsprung trim ups the game even further with 22-inch alloy wheels, all-wheel steering, a Titanium Black styling pack, panoramic glass sunroof, electric closing doors, 360-degree camera system and a Bang & Olufsen uprated audio system. The Q8 is available to order now from Audi dealers, with the first cars set to arrive in the country during September.
