German tuning house Abt don’t waste any time when it comes to bringing out products for brand new models. In the time it’s taken most owners of these new cars to figure out how to stop the sat nav doing that annoying bleeping thing and got the seat set just right, Abt have already released a software package and wheel set for it.
Nothing rhymes with Volkswagen Touareg
In the case of the new Touareg, the 3.0-litre TDI has 286bhp and 600Nm as stock but Abt took the ECU out for a nice dinner and whispered sweet nothings in to its ear and by the end of the night convinced it to make the engine produce 330bhp and 650Nm, which is awfully nice of it. The wheels are Abt’s top of the line efforts and are called Sport GRs. They come in 22” diameter in either black, or, erm, glossy black.
