Second punchy BMW X3 on way… With the premiere of the 2019 BMW X3 M40d G01, the number of engines available to choose from for the Sports Activity Vehicle in the premium mid-range segment, increases to five in the UK.
This newcomer is now the second BMW M Performance model in the series, and its in-line six-cylinder diesel engine produces 326hp and 680Nm from 1,750 rpm. Thanks to multistage turbocharging and common rail direct injection with piezo injectors, the car accelerates from zero to 62mph in 4.9 seconds, yet has an official fuel consumption figure of 44.1mpg and produces 169g/km of CO₂.
